- Helped create BluePrint Program that provides job training and placement for minorities throughout city
- Hired Equity Official to make sure diversity and inclusion is included in every department
- Allow city employees domestic partners to receive healthcare and insurance benefits
- Support local senior programs at College Park & Rosemont Neighborhood Center, as well as Beardall Sr Center
- Provides $2,000,000 each year to non-profit partners who support our most vulnerable
- Provides $1,000,000 annually to United Arts and United Way
- Provided $500,000 DPAC for Frontyard Festival venue during the pandemic
- Support scholarships for at-risk children for our afterschool and summer programs at neighborhood center, along with a Summer Meal Program (at no cost to the taxpayers)
- 21st Century Grant to allow reading specialist at each of our Summer Program to keep children from falling behind during the summer months
