  • Most successful Neighborhood Watch in all of Orlando’s 6 Districts

 

  • Fought to protect our neighborhoods helping with placemaking, identification and way-finding

 

  • Supported our District 3 Main Street by allowing volunteer hours to apply against payment for parks and amenities saving valuable investment dollars

 

  • Sponsored and promoted events like JazzFest, Holiday on the Drive, Jingle Eve, Zombiefest, Virginia Drive Live and local community gardens, along with countless other local community building events

 

  • Renovated/Expanded almost every park in District 3 (Ivanhoe Plaza Park, Mitchell Nutter, Guernsey Park, Mathews Park, Ben Crosby Field, Trotters Park, Rosemont Park, Ivanhoe Park)
  • Added ¾ acre to Dartmouth Park so that the entire block is new a city park

 

  • Renovated Dubsdread Golf Course making an award winning and profitable city amenity

 

  • Added decorative fencing at Edgewater and Princeton

 

  • Supported and promoted After School All Stars for students with partnerships with companies like Chick-fil-A & GAP

 

  • Created Orlando’s Urban Trail from Mead Gardens to Michigan Ave and expanded Cady Way Trail and Ivanhoe Trail used by almost 12,000 people a week

 

  • Scores of Green-Up events throughout District 3 (Community Building)

 

  • Added 120 acres as the new regional park at Packing District (Opening in 2022)

 

  • Beginning the renovation of Lake Fairview/Trotter’s Park in 2021

 

  • Renovated new Lynx Bus Transfer Super Stop to include lighting, cameras and safety features

 

  • Added security cameras at District 3 Neighborhood Center for the safety of our children

 

  • Supported expansion our Emergency Operations Center to state-of-the-art communications center used during local emergencies

 

  • Building new Fire Station 6 that will support Baldwin Park neighbors
